Nach ihrer Entlassung aus diversen Besserungsanstalten gründeten die Vollblut-Rocker die Country-RocknRoll-Combo DOC ROCK & HIS RESTLESS HEARTS und machen seitdem die Bühnen verrauchter Vorstadtsaloons unsicher.
Eine wilde, actiongeladene Show verbunden mit Präriegeschichten und Lagerfeuerromantik, das ist es, was der Blick auf die Setliste der ungezähmten Country-Boys verspricht: Über eine mächtige Portion eigener, wilder und kraftvoller Country-Songs geht es von Johnny Cash und Hank Williams über Dolly Parton, Mike Ness und Bruce Springsteen direkt zu Christina Aguilera und Puff Daddy, die ja auch irgendwie Country sind – zumindest, wenn man Doc Rocks Interpretationen von "Beautiful" und "I'll be missing you" glauben darf. Allerdings haben die Jungs um Frontmann Doc Rock den ‚Schmalz’ aus den Songs genommen und dafür ne kräftige Portion ‚rockin’ Chilli’ reingehauen.
Also gute handgemachte Musik für alle Raubeine – und die, die es werden wollen.
In der Zwischenzeit heißt es: Aufgesattelt und rein in die Stiefel, um beim nächsten Überfall dabei zu sein.

Right after their release from various correctional institutions, these thoroughbred rockers founded the country-rock-n-roll-combo DOC ROCK & HIS RESTLESS HEARTS and have been raising hell in smoky suburb saloons ever since.
A wild and action packed show combined with prairie stories and camp fire romanticism - that's what a look at the setlist of these untamed Country Boys suggests: From a big, wild and powerful set of own songs to Johnny Cash and Hank
Williams, Dolly Parton, Mike Ness and Bruce Springsteen with a detour to
Christina Aguilera and Puff Daddy, who are also Country in some way -
at least if you trust Doc Rock's version of "I'll be missing you" and "Beautiful".
But hold on: The guys around front man Doc Rock took the "kitsch" out of these songs and dumped in a strong dose of 'rockin' Chili'. You're talkin' good handmade music for all roughnecks - and all wannabees.
So for now: Saddle up, slip into your boots and get ready for the next hold-up.
